The Justice League should not be boring but this issue is. This one is the battle between the Justice League, the Shadow Cabinet, and the Shadow Thief.
Unfortunately, this one shows too many panels of the characters standing around and talking. The art by Luis and Mayer is very well done. The problem with it is too many static poses. It does not look like there is any movement by the characters. Maybe with a different story, this art team could have done better. It makes me long for the days of the one and two part JLA stories. This story might of been improved by condensing it.
The plotline that needs to be resolved is the forced romance between Hawkgirl and Red Arrow. Back when Black Canary and Green Arrow became involved, it seemed like a natural progression of their characters. This seems to be forced. I would suggest that it end. It is time to have the writer read the old books to see how it should be handled.
Next issue showcases the repercussions of the Final Crisis.
Only recommended for die hard fans of the JLA or the Shadow Cabinet.
