FLASH THE FASTEST MAN ALIVE #4
ASTONISHING X-MEN #17
CIVIL WAR #4
GHOST RIDER #3
IRON MAN #12
MOON KNIGHT #5
ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR #34
Oh man, this is a big week. I can’t make any promises about getting reviews posted for all of these titles this week. I’ll do my best to slog my way through as many as possible.
Which DC comic am I most looking forward to reading? That would be 52 #20. It is always a great read and the story took a very interesting turn with the last issue.
Which DC comic am I most curious about? Wetworks #1. I am very suspicious how successful these re-incarnated Wildstorm titles are going to be. Especially ones like Wetworks which was your stereotypical mid-90’s Image title: All fluff and zero substance. It will be interesting to see if the stories are well written and if the characters are engaging.
Which DC comic am I least looking forward to reading? Flash #4. I have found this title to be poorly written. Unless this issue really blows me away, I believe that the Flash is going to get the axe.
Which Marvel comic am I most looking forward to reading? Well, it is actually a three way tie between Astonishing X-Men #17, Moon Knight #5 and X-Factor #11. All three titles are fantastic reads. They all have an incredible combination of strong writing and wonderful art.
Which Marvel comic am I least looking forward to reading? That would be either Civil War #4 or Ghost Rider #3. The massive delays in Civil War’s scheduling have worked to kill a lot of my interest in this story. The continual lack of a well developed and balanced storyline between the pro and anti registration sides has also dimmed my interest in this story.
Is the Revolution off base on which titles we should be excited about reading or least interested in reading? Let me know. As far as the reviews, I promise to try and get some review posted by at least Thursday.
